Mutants are your fighters. There are mainly 6 basic Mutants of a specific gene. They are Saber, Necro, Cyber, Beast, Galactic and Mythic.

Mutants Genetic Gladiator Genes

Each gene has it’s own strength and weaknesses. Here is a quick chart courtesy of mgg wikia:

To determine what attacks the mutant can use, you look at its genes. For example, Honey Bunny is Saber and Beast. So her main gene is Saber. That makes her strong against Necro and Mythic and weak against Cyber and Zoomorph attacks. Her “secondary gene” tells you what her second attack type would be. In this case, it would be a Zoomorph attack.

You start off with the first 3 genes – Saber, Necro and Cyber. You are given 2 of the 3 at the start. They let you choose either the Warrior, Zombie or Robot. From there, you can cross breed the to get hybrid mutants. To see the breeding combination list, click here.

You breed mutants by putting them in the breeding center. Depending on the mutant, it takes anywhere from 30 mins to 2 days to breed a mutant. After breeding is complete, you will get a chance to get a new mutant based on the genes the mutant you put in. For example, if you put a Robot(Cyber gene) and a Zombie(Necro gene), you would get either a Cyber + Necro hybrid or Necro + Cyber hybrid.

Every time you participate in campaign fights or PvP battles, you gain fame. After gaining a set amount of fame, you level up. Leveling up will net you some gold, credits and occasionally bronze/silver/gold stars depending on you level.

You can also participate in global PvP fights against other players and win awesome prizes. However, it is a little harder for newer players as the players you fight against are usually higher level than you are.
